Meeting Room Styles and Their Suggested Uses.

Conference Style

Hollow Square

Tables set in rectangle or oval shape with chairs on both sides and ends.  Suggested for small discussions.

Tables set in a square (or rectangle) with chairs placed around the perimeter.  The center inside of the tables is hollow.  Suggested for small to medium discussions.

Lounge Style

School Room

Small round tables scattered throughout the room.  Suggested for receptions.

Tables lined up in a row, one behind the other on each side of center aisle with chairs facing head table.  Suggested for groups using a teaching format.

U-Shaped

Banquet

Series of tables set up in the shape of the block "U" with chairs set all around the outside perimeter.  Suggested for small to medium groups with a discussion or teaching format.

Large round tables placed throughout the room.  Suggested for all organized food functions.
